QA/QC Engineer (Marine Construction & Infrastructure)

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our marine construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of quality control procedures, inspections, and documentation in accordance with UAE standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and QA/QC procedures
• Conduct inspections for marine and infrastructure works including piling, concrete, earthworks, and structural works
• Ensure materials and workmanship comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards
• Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IR), Method Statements, and Material Submittals
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and site teams for inspections and approvals
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, records, and reports
• Monitor site activities to ensure quality compliance at all stages
• Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented
• Participate in audits and quality meetings
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management system requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in marine construction and infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, specifications, and codes
• Experience in marine works such as quay walls, dredging, revetments, and piling is preferred
• Good knowledge of QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures
• Proficient in MS Office and quality documentation
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred:

• Immediate availability or short notice period
• Experience working with consultants and government authorities
• ISO 9001 internal auditor certification is an advantage
